"Me-time in a group, so to speak" was the feedback received by the University Health Management team during this winter edition of campus yoga in the evening, after three relaxing yoga flows and a meditation session.

And that is precisely the aim of such a day: to give students and employees a break from their everyday lives while spending time together, exercising and doing something for themselves.

The Good Morning Flow started at 8.45 am and was very well attended. It was the perfect start to a productive yet relaxed day and attracted both yoga enthusiasts and yoga first-timers. To make this start even fresher, the yoga session was followed by delicious smoothies and warm bread with various spreads, provided by the Studentenwerk Oberfranken. This gave all participants the opportunity to socialise and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere a little longer.

At lunchtime, the flow led in English also offered international students the opportunity to take part in this beautiful event and take a conscious break. A guided meditation in the afternoon, which took place in a smaller group, aimed to calm down and become more aware of one's own body.

The last flow in the evening focussed on the topic of "change", which was taken up again in a small journaling unit towards the end, in order to transition into a quiet evening with these thoughts. The fairy lights in the conference room emphasised the relaxing atmosphere of the last session. Even after this flow, many participants stayed on site for discussions and feedback, bringing this successful day to a beautiful close.

A big thank you to the wonderful yoga teacher Laura, who was able to give everyone involved one or more relaxing hours with her calm manner. Also to the Studentenwerk Oberfranken for the delicious and healthy catering after the yoga sessions and for providing the SWO conference room. This event could not have taken place without the support of AOK-Bayern. In addition, we are once again delighted at how wonderfully uncomplicated the cooperation with the Central Technical Department, the ÖBG and the ITS is. Thank you for this! We are already looking forward to another special edition of our campus yoga in summer 2024!
