Agnes Pelzl joined from the University of Technology Nuremberg (UTN), where she played a key role in developing communication structures and shaping the positioning of a growing institution. Prior to that, she worked at Fraunhofer, gaining extensive experience at the interface of research, innovation transfer, and public engagement. She completed her studies at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), at various institutions across Europe and the USA, and at the University of Passau. At the University of Bayreuth, she is responsible for the strategic direction of communications, the further development of the university’s brand profile, and the close alignment of internal and external communication.
Dr. Stefan Fehm-Danoglidis joined from Stadtwerke München, where he worked as diversty manager, translating complex topics for diverse audiences. At the University of Bayreuth, he coordinates media relations, manages press inquiries, and serves as the central contact for journalists.
Together, Pelzl and Fehm-Danoglidis represent a clear, structured, and audience-focused approach to communication at the University of Bayreuth, aimed at enhancing the visibility of its research, teaching, and transfer activities.
