Animal roommates: Sheep in the Ecological-Botanical Garden.
Sheep grazing in a pasture are an image of peace that everyone longs for, especially now in the Christmas season.
In the Ecological-Botanical Garden there is a herd of the Coburger fox sheep, an undemanding, hardy and protected breed of land sheep. Especially beautiful is the color of the young lambs, which is golden yellow to reddish brown at birth. With the adult animals, the wool lightens, at the head and at the legs, the original bay coloring remains. The sheep are from April to November on the paddocks in the crop garden, they spend the winter in the stable of the agricultural educational institutions.
