Networking made easy!
The University of Bayreuth's online Career Forum on 17 November (from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) will give students the opportunity to network with more than 60 companies, law firms, and institutions.
The 33rd company contact fair to be organized by the Career Services & Corporate Relations Office at the University of Bayreuth will once again help to bridge the gap between theory and practice. And it will do so at the highest level: the Career Forum is one of Germany's top career fairs, achieving the best possible score in all categories in a recent study by the news magazine "Focus".
The online career fair will include lectures and workshops. In addition, 18 well-known companies and law firms will be inviting visitors to one-on-one interviews, and an online escape game will also be available to round off the event. Some of these exclusive additional offers require one to submit an application (curriculum vitae and overview of grades). Further details are available on the homepage of the Career Forum: www.karriereforum.uni-bayreuth.de.
The fact that the fair is being held online again this year is due not only to the long planning horizon, but also to the need to comply with the Covid regulations for events not related to teaching, as stipulated at the University. "In order to nevertheless give our students the opportunity to establish direct contact with companies, firms, and institutions, thereby giving them access to internships, trainee positions, and direct career entry without barriers, we will be offering a wide-ranging programme online," explains Susanne Weigelt, the main person responsible and head of the Career Forum organization team.

Claas Hinrichs, head of Career Service & Corporate Relations at the University of Bayreuth, is pleased that so many companies are also participating in the Career Forum online: "It really is a great success that we have been able to inspire so many different industries to participate in our virtual Career Forum. This clearly shows that the law firms, companies, and institutions perceive our fair just as positively as our students."
To participate in the 33rd Career Forum, students and interested parties are invited to join us online on Wednesday, 17 November 2021, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to exchange ideas and network directly with potential employers via our app KarriereForum (free download in the app/playstore) or using a web browser. This event is geared towards students from all faculties who are looking for a part-time job or an internship, are planning their career start, or who simply want to expand their practical network.
