Celebration of service anniversaries and retirement in May 2023

Long-serving employees and retirees are traditionally invited to a small celebration with coffee and cake at the University of Bayreuth.

Since there was no ceremony last year to honour long-service anniversaries and retirees, the round of honourees on 23 May 2023 was particularly large: 30 employees, nine academic civil servants, three civil servants and one civil servant were honoured for their long UBT service. In addition, 34 people were given a send-off into retirement by Provost Dr Nicole Kaiser on this day.
