Children's University 2023 awards ceremony with over 60 children

At the Children's University awards ceremony in the town hall, over 60 children came together with their parents, siblings or other companions to receive their awards. 

Prof. Anna Schenk, who gave the opening lecture at the Children's University 2023, and Mayor Thomas Ebersberger took turns presenting the prizes to the enthusiastic winners who had attended at least three Children's University lectures in the summer. 

The prizes were donated by numerous companies from the region. The main sponsor is Sparkasse Bayreuth, without which the Children's University would not be possible. Playmobil animals were provided by PLAYMOBIL/Horst Brandstätter Group, plush toys by Sigikid. Book prizes were donated by the Breuer bookstore at the Bayreuth town hall, and book vouchers were donated by the vfm group Klaus Liebig, Pegnitz. The sponsor of the night watchman tours was Bayreuth Marketing & Tourismus GmbH, and vouchers for visits to the Prehistoric World Museum were provided by the Prehistoric World Museum Bayreuth. Vouchers for a visit to the Obernsee thermal baths were sponsored by the thermal baths and vouchers for a visit to the castle were sponsored by the Bavarian Administration of Palaces, Gardens and Lakes. 150 of the children's students have already been able to enjoy free tickets to visit the Kreuzsteinbad, which were provided by Bayreuther Verkehrs- und Bäder-GmbH (BVB). 

The commitment of the five children's reporters Alexandra, Morgan, Esther, Johannes and Leo who, together in the run-up to the Children's University, conducted numerous interviews with the speakers from the Children's University for Bayreuth media and were also delighted to receive prizes also deserves special recognition (see picture above).
