Children's University 2024: children determine the topics
A children's university will also take place at the University of Bayreuth in 2024. The dates have already been set: June 19th, June 26th, July 3rd, July 10th, from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Audimax on the University of Bayreuth campus.
The topics of the Children's University are determined by the children. They can choose their favorites from ten suggestions.
Voting is possible until the end of April 2024 at https://www.uni-bayreuth.de/kinderuni or directly at https://www.kinderuni-vote.uni-bayreuth.de/de/abstimm/.
The suggestions that the professors have come up with for the children are about lemons and pocket money, forest wonders, unbreakable glass, network connections, batteries, light and lasers, treasure hunts with AI, power in the animal kingdom, youth in National Socialism and truth or lie.
The action-packed lectures are anything but boring: bang, smoke, bright colors, various experiments with participatory components - there is a lot to see at the Children's University of Bayreuth.
Admission to the Children's University is free, registration is not required. Parents and companions must stay outside; there is an exciting alternative program for them.
