Lots to see at the TAO Open Day
On 21 May, the TAO building at the South Campus of the University of Bayreuth opened its doors to the public.
The mood was good, the crowd was large: many visitors came to the TAO building at the open day on 21 May 2022.
TAO stands for TechnologieAllianzOberfranken. The biomaterials researchers demonstrated spider feeding, the engineers gave an energy technology tour and there was also information on high-performance insulation materials and insights into high-temperature alloying and ceramics research.
In the morning, the Bavarian Minister of Science Markus Blume visited the TAO building. During his first visit to Bayreuth, Blume met with the scientists and learned about the work of the TechonologyAlliance Upper Franconia. A press release on the minister's visit can be found here:
