After the three finished their P&E studies at the University of Bayreuth in 2019, 2020, and 2021 respectively, they went their separate ways.
- Henrike is currently doing her fourth semester of a Master of Economics degree at LMU Munich, and is taking part in the Environmental Studies Programme of the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society at the same university. She also works as a freelance writer for Süddeutsche Zeitung Freising.
- Sarah is currently working as a research assistant at the Philosophy Department of the University of Hamburg and is in the application phase for a master's degrees.
- After an internship at the Institute for Ecological Economic Research in Berlin, Victoria has started her master's degree in Inequalities and Social Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Their studies in Bayreuth were an enriching time for Henrike Adamsen, Sarah Brehmer and Victoria Hünewaldt. What did they like best?
- Henrike says: “Places to get together, such as the café, Frischraum, and the Rondell come to mind, and not just for their relaxation factor. To chance upon fellow students and to run into new people - that was what characterized student life for me. And the many and varied student initiatives, clubs, and organisations really enriched campus life.”
- Sarah says: “During my time as a student in Bayreuth, I particularly appreciated the short walking distances. Be it on campus itself, between classes, but also in Bayreuth. This led to many spontaneous encounters, but also last-minute appointments with friends - it was never far away. Thanks to this unique atmosphere, you were able to make contacts quickly, especially at the beginning, which led to many wonderful friendships. Studying was also made easier by the good organisation of the degree programme itself, but also of the University of Bayreuth in general.”
- Victoria adds: “The inspiring environment and the unique student community that quickly formed at the Campus University Bayreuth with its rather small number of students. That was at least as important and formative as the study content itself.”
