As last semester, the alumni association Sportökonomie Uni Bayreuth e.V. raffled off a day trip to Nuremberg and Ingolstadt, which was sponsored by the Ingolstadt-based brand communications agency CUBE brand communications.

The ten winners - students of sports economics - set off for Ingolstadt on Saturday afternoon to take a look at the working world at CUBE brand communications before the ice hockey game. This time, however, they were not invited to the agency, but to the Audi Charging Hub in Nuremberg, which is managed by CUBE brand communications. Once there, the students were given an insight into the lounge and a behind-the-scenes tour of the "inside" of the Charging Hub. Over coffee together in the lounge, the students got the chance to ask all their questions about everyday working life and agency life.

Afterwards, the winners went on to dinner and then off to the Saturn Arena for the ERC Ingolstadt game against the Grizzlies Wolfsburg. The Ingolstadt team won 3:2 after a thrilling overtime.

In this way, the sporting aspect was linked to the economic aspect - as is also the case in the study of sports economics. Our students are very grateful and were happy about the active exchange and the successful day trip. The Sports Economics Alumni Association had organised the excursion together with Dr Michael Schilhaneck - also a sports economist, co-owner and managing director of CUBE brand communications.
