Federal Minister Svenja Schulze visits the Iwalewahaus

The Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Svenja Schulze, was a guest at the University of Bayreuth. Her presence was a strong sign of the importance of education and international cooperation. Together with Bayreuth SPD Member of Parliament Anette Kramme, she had visited the Iwalewahaus and learned about the profile field of African Studies and the Cluster of Excellence Africa Multiple. Schulze was impressed by the interdisciplinary orientation of the University of Bayreuth. The stories of the doctoral students and their fields of research also met with great interest from the minister, who was not only willing to talk in a large round, but also engaged in conversation with those present during the tour of the Iwalewahaus.
