The team of the Uni Open Air is in the starting blocks for the festival 2022

The team of the Uni Open Air has already been working on the planning of the event since November. "We were actually sure that it could take place," says Til Gosch. First they divided up the various departments, then, in December, they went straight to booking. "We are very happy that we will have such great artists on stage again this year," he emphasises.

The individual artists were gradually introduced on the Instagram page of the Uni Open Air. Recently, the last artist has also been announced: Paula Hartmann. The 21-year-old is already known as both an actress and a musician. She even released a joint single with the rapper Casper a few weeks ago. "The fact that Paula Hartmann has accepted is of course mega cool," says Gosch. "But the other artists are also super. When it came to the selection, we actually relied on what we as organisers like to hear at home."

With Emmms, Kilean812, Futurebae, Zimmer90 and a collective from Moneypool Records, there are also more musicians with a lot of potential on stage. "We have more rap this year than perhaps in previous years," says Gosch. But this also hits the pulse of the times: the German charts are full of rap numbers.

Tickets for the Uni Open Air will be on sale for 16 euros at the campus from the beginning of June. "The fact that the tickets for six acts can be so cheap is also due to the fact that we have a lot of support and our own contribution," Gosch tells us. In addition to the AOK, Maisel's, the Univerein and the Studentenwerk Oberfranken, the city of Bayreuth is also sponsoring the event. "We also take care of the catering to cover the costs," Gosch explains. Helping hands are therefore still needed for this and also for set-up and dismantling. The festival starts on 25 June at 4 pm, admission from 3 pm.
