AI - opportunity or risk?

Faster, better, more efficient - there is almost no hope that is not currently based on artificial intelligence (AI). Are these hopes utopian or realistic? What benefits do AI methods bring to the working world of engineers and technicians? What dangers? The VDE Bavaria Future Forum 2024 would like to address this exciting topic and take a closer look at the challenges and opportunities in a professional discussion.

The forum offers a platform for discussion with experienced speakers and decision-makers from research, science, industry, politics and society. Under the patronage of the Bavarian Minister of State for Digital Affairs, Dr. Fabian Mehring, various sessions with renowned guests will take place. Guests include Prof. Dagmar Schuller, Deputy Head of AI Bundesverband Bayern and founder of audEERING GmbH, Nils Merkle, Managing Director of IBM Client Innovation Center Germany and Gregor Schmalzried, freelance journalist and host of "Der KI-Podcast der ARD".
