Children's University with electric eel: Prof. Stefan Schuster inspires 400 children

The Children's University of Bayreuth is anything but boring! Here a thief is convicted with cocoa powder, you can see dangerous electric eels up close, inflation is explained with chocolate and gummy bears, and and and...

Finally it was time again: on June 22nd, the children's university finally started again in person, with laughing, happy children, excited professors and parents who were able to take part in the accompanying program.

Professor Schuster beamed all over his face, you could tell how much he enjoyed giving a lecture on "Electric Fish" to 400 children. The little electric eel was still a bit reserved in the new environment and wasn't hungry either, but the children were completely enthusiastic about the great lecture that the professor had designed especially for their age group.

After the lecture there was an autograph session with Professor Schuster and interested children had another opportunity to ask Stefan Schuster questions, which he patiently answered.

The accompanying lecture for the children's parents by Professor Georg Herink on the topic "Laser swords - now it's getting dangerous" was also very well received, because parents have to stay outside the children's university. However, the H 13 was well filled and the "parents' tour" through the ecological botanical garden was also very well received in midsummer temperatures.
